Summary of Workshop Resilience is a dynamic skill set, varying in strength depending on one’s situation. There are times where we can face all the challenges life throws at us, and others where we cannot process the smallest thing. Utilising the robust framework of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), this workshop offers an insightful lexicon of psychological terms to identify individual strengths and behaviours. The objective is to fortify your resilience toolkit and mitigate stress triggers effectively. Upon course completion, participants will be equipped to recognize early signs of stress in themselves, others and offer proactive psychological support. What will be covered? Undertake a comprehensive MBTI psychometric assessment and receive personalized feedback. This is an internationally accredited tool backed by over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies. Gain an introductory understanding of Jungian Cognitive Functions. Uncover the psychological foundation behind MBTI and learn to apply its language to interpret and employ Jungian theories. Explore Cognitive Functions when subjected to stress and understand patterns of 'in-the-grip' behaviour. Learn how to differentiate between extraverted and introverted stress responses and formulate strategies for intervention. Delve into the art of "Breaking Bad News" from a Jungian perspective. Discuss the individuality of patient needs and understand how personal values shape their psychological requirements. The workshop will be led by a fully accredited MBTI facilitator and Positive Psychology Practitioner boasting 12 years of experience in NHS Medical Education. Who is it for? Open to all, but particularly beneficial for healthcare providers, NHS staff, and those interested in psychological resilience and leadership. Course Details Duration: 7 hours Continuing Professional Development (CPD), inclusive of a half-hour, on-line, pre-assessment. Class Size: Minimum of 4 and maximum of 16 participants. For groups larger than 16, additional support will be required.
